This role is for a sales and business development professional with digital marketing experience who can be strategic, think on their feet, build rapport quickly, and has great sales experience. The perfect person for this role is able to clearly identify and communicate opportunities and services to potential clients and translate those ideas seamlessly in conversations, proposals, and pitches.

In addition, this is an exciting time for Brandetize as you will be working directly with the executive team to spearhead and grow this new department, which is currently handled by the executives and some Account Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the client inbound sales pipeline
  • Keep track of and follow-up with new potential clients via phone, email, and zoom calls
  • Work with the team and our internal services calculator to plan and price out services for new client presentation
  • Create proposal decks and prepare for meetings with potential clients
  • Take clear notes and organize client information to later share with account managers and team specialists in order to build accurate and comprehensive services proposals
  • Work with the executive leadership team to identify sales quotas and meet set goals each month
  • Work with the executive leadership team to develop strategies that will generate new inbound leads (this may require some outbound efforts to cold prospects to determine viability of various strategies)
  • Spearhead new systems, sales processes and best practices by creating department operating procedures
  • Spearhead improvements of our internal systems for sales data management, forecasting, quotes, contracts, dashboards, and reporting
  • Use tools and software for efficient results, including Google Docs, Zoho, Asana, Slack and other project management and communication tools

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales for marketing services or agencies
  • Have a solid understanding of how marketing channel strategies work together, including SEO, paid search, social media, and email in order to effectively craft proposals for clients
  • A strong background in inside sales and a familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively convey what’s most relevant and meaningful for various audiences
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance

Skills & Background

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as listening skills with the ability to persuade and influence others
  • Proven track record of achieving set KPIs, utilizing proven Lead Generation and Closing processes and tools including Inbound Marketing, Sales Pipeline management, CRM and content marketing
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and desire to ‘take projects and run with them’
  • The ability to work with limited direction and still execute well
  • A true passion for people and creating an environment where people are excited to come to work every day.
